UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey declared that she would beat former WWE Champion and Fast & Furious co-star The Rock in a fight – and added that The Rock knows he’d lose.
Rousey took to Twitter on Friday and decided to answer any questions the Twitterverse had to offer, and the one she answered was both topical and intriguing:
@RondaRousey who would win a legit fight you or @TheRock ? #AskFurious7

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was one of the most popular superstars in professional wrestling history before retiring to pursue a very successful acting career – a career that intersected Rousey’s when they were both given parts in the recent Fast & Furious 7 film.
Last Sunday at Wrestlemania XXXI, Rousey shocked the world by joining The Rock in the middle of the ring at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco to help The Peoples’ Champ literally toss Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of the ring – promptly going viral around the sporting and entertainment worlds.
Rousey’s reputation as perhaps the most dangerous fighter in the world has been well-earned and well-documented. In 11 professional MMA fights since 2011, Rousey has gone 11-0, with 10 of her matches lasting less than one round, seven of her matches lasting less than one minute, and four of her matches lasting less than 30 seconds.
Most recently, Rousey defended her Bantamweight title at UFC 184 by defeating Cat Zingano in a mere 14 seconds – the shortest championship match in UFC history.
