The police showed up at Randle’s hotel and searched the place, finding marijuana and charging him with illegal drug possession.
Randle made a name for himself in the news a few months back when he was arrested for shoplifting underwear and cologne from a mall this past October. Ironically, Randle managed to get an endorsement deal out of it, becoming a spokesman for the MeUndies charity organization.
As backup RB to the NFL’s leading rusher, Randle was also an important change-of-pace back for the Cowboys, finishing the season with 51 carries for 343 yards and 3 TDs – a 6.7 yards/carry average – on the NFL’s second leading rushing offense.
