A member of the Dallas Cowboys has been arrested for allegedly shoplifting underwear and cologne.
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Dallas Cowboys RB Joseph Randle was arrested in Frisco, Texas for taking the items without bothering to pay the store anything for the privilege. Per Hill, Randle was caught in the act by video cameras and police were notified.
A spokesman for the Frisco police department confirmed that Randle was arrested on a Class B misdemeanor charge of a theft between $50-$500. He was booked at the city jail and released after posting bond.
Randle ran five times for 52 yards in last Sunday’s victory in Seattle. There’s no word yet on how or if the arrest will impact Randle’s status on the team.
Randle has played in 19 games in a two year career since joining the Cowboys as a 5th round selection in 2013.
