A look at ten players who would benefit from leaving their current clubs.
With the transfer window upon us, it is set to be an exciting time again for fans as they await their clubs’ new arrivals ahead of next season. However, it could be a big time for some players as well, who will be concerned for various reasons at their current situations and looking for a new team. Although there is always so much emphasis on what clubs and managers will be looking for in the transfer window, fanatix takes a look at ten big names who will be desperate for a move themselves this summer.
10) Wilfried Zaha (Manchester United)
Once regarded as one of the most promising up-and-coming English talents, Wilfried Zaha’s first season with Manchester United has been nothing short of a disaster, with the 21-year-old failing to make his way into David Moyes’ first-team plans in any shape or form in the first half of the season, before being shipped out on loan to struggling Cardiff City for the remainder of the campaign. After the Welsh side suffered relegation from the Premier League and Zaha once again failed to make any kind of impact, the future looks bleak for the England Under-21 international at Old Trafford, with new manager Louis van Gaal surely set to bring in a number of big-name signings in attack. Zaha’s old club Crystal Palace have been linked with a return for the winger, and it may be for the best if he does go back to Selhurst Park in an attempt to revive his career.
