Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was carted off the field against the Indianapolis Colts after suffering a leg injury, adding to the Texans’ ongoing quarterback woes.
Ryan Mallett is out for the season with a torn pectoral injury, so rookie Tom Savage has been filling in for Fitzpatrick.
It has since been confirmed that Fitzpatrick will miss the rest of the season, which will come as no surprise judging by the severity of his injury when it occurred.
Here is a Twitter update from NFL Network national reporter Ian Rapoport on Fitzpatrick’s injury.
