The #14 Kansas State Wildcats defeated the #11 Oklahoma Sooners 31-30 for the upset win on Saturday.
With the help of a 62-yard TD catch by Glenn Gronkowski, a timely pick-6 off QB Trevor Knight and an Oklahoma missed PAT, Kansas State topped the Sooners on the road to climb to 5-1 and 3-0 in the division, giving them a tie with Oklahoma State for 2nd place in the Big XII conference.
The Sooners played well with QB Trevor Knight, but a terrible pick-6 thrown in the first half made the difference and the team suffered their 2nd loss in three weeks.
With the loss to Kansas State and the seemingly imminent win by West Virginia over the Baylor Bears, the Sooners will fall to 5th place in the Big XII conference.
