Played a similar role to Lodeiro and was solid if not spectacular.

Worked his socks off and did not allow Gerrard or Henderson to settle on the ball.

Had the least impact of any Uruguay player and missed a golden opportunity to score when Phil Jagielka handed it to him on a platter.
