The 47-year-old will has offers from MSL clubs Sembilan and Kelantan.
V. Sundramoorthy admits he is unsure over his future as Lions XII coach with several Malaysian Super League clubs keen to hire him.
The New Paper suggest Sundramoorthy will depart the Jalan Besar Stadium later this year after receiving concrete offers from Negeri Sembilan and Kelantan and could be in new employment as early as November at the conclusion of the Malaysia Cup.
It’s also unlikely the 47-year-old will be in the dugout for the SEA Games, where he was expected to lead the national Under-23 team, but expressed his thanks to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) for their support as ponders whether to leave Lions after guiding them to the MSL Championship.
“As I have said on several occasions, I am deeply appreciative of the support and assistance rendered to me by my management and colleagues at FAS (Football Association of Singapore),” he reportedly told the Straits Times.
“I appreciate that FAS values my contributions and I am thankful that the management has commenced the discussion process with me a renewal of my contract. Like any professional coach, I would need to consider all key factors before making a decision on my future.”
