The fly-half made English history with a dramatic last minute drop goal.
On 22 November 2003 a much fancied England Rugby Union side went head-to-head with hosts Australia in the World Cup final.
As the match entered the final stages the scores were level at 17-17, with the English having one goal and that was to get the ball to the talismanic Jonny Wilkinson.
The fly-half had kicked the nation to victories throughout the tournament, but this was to be Wilkinson’s crowning moment as the ball came to the No.10.
The rest, they say, is history.
