He is expected to make his debut against Sassuolo on Sunday, although coach Massimiliano Allegri will face selection headaches given the current form on Kaka.
Nevertheless, Robinho will be expected to drop out of the side to accommodate the Rossoneri’s latest signing, with Mario Balotelli returning to the starting line-up after recovering from flu.
While Honda’s arrival at San Siro has already sparked huge interest across Italy and in his homeland, Milan will hope to benefit both on and off the pitch.
The midfield ace has proven his ability for both club and country but has insisted that he is ready for the next step in his career, while the commercial benefits will undoubtedly provide a boost for the financial health of the club.
