South African seamer Alfonso Thomas has become the first bowler in over a decade to take four wickets in four consecutive balls in a first-class match.
The 37-year-old’s unbelievable spell came when Sussex were 0/33 in a First Division County Championship match, sparking a batting collapse which saw them lose five wickets in ten balls for no additional runs.
