After seeing this it won’t be hard to imagine Croatian boxing referees pushing for a hefty pay rise following this outrageous attack on an official by Vido Loncar.

The light-heavyweight was clearly unimpressed with having lost his fight against Lithuanian opponent Algirdas Baniulis and took his frustration out in disgraceful style on the referee.
And if the initial punch wasn’t bad enough, Loncar continued to lay into the hapless ref whilst he was on the ground.
Loncar’s opponent clearly didn’t help matters, and makes you wonder how he even won the fight when he dashes off through the ropes to safety.
Luckily Loncar’s assault was stopped by onlookers, who dragged him out of the ring by his feet.
