The Melbourne Victory star has his heart set on playing for Australia.
Andrew Nabbout has declined a call-up from the Lebanon national team to chase his dream of representing the Socceroos.
The Melbourne Victory midfielder confirmed Lebanese FA officials had made contact with the A-League club regarding his international availability and that he had rejected their offer in order to remain in contention for Australia in the future.
The 20-year-old now has his sights set on breaking into Holger Osieck’s squad.
