The match started with Leicester on the front foot but they couldn’t get the all important breakthrough, as Laurent Koscielny slotted home after being given far too much space in the box.
The Foxes pressed and pressed their hosts in search of an elusive goal but it was the Gunners who found the next goal. Theo Walcott scored a delightful poacher’s finish which will no doubt do his confidence the world of good after coming back from a serious injury.
Arsenal might feel aggrieved they were never given a penalty for an alleged handball on Danny Simpson but Leicester plugged away after the half-time break.
The Foxes were rewarded for the patience with Andrej Kramaric’s first goal for the club as he begins to pay back the £9 million fee Leicester parted with for him.
The bottom side, who looked to be playing for their manager’s future, couldn’t capitalise on their momentum though and weren’t able to force an equaliser despite maybe deserving the win.
