Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has won BBC Match of the Day’s Goal of the Season competition for the second year running.
The injury-prone 23-year-old won the award in the 2013-14 campaign for finishing a brilliant one-touch team move against Norwich City.
Wilshere retained the award on Sunday night for his fine individual strike in the 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion earlier in the day.
Gunners star Wilshere won an eight-way MotD viewer’s vote with 34%.
His goal, which you can watch below, was an absolute cracker, but it probably wasn’t the best goal of the season.
Wilshere won the vote after an Arsenal fan organised a Twitter campaign to get tweeters to back the left-footed star.
