Three Lions paceman says his team is not giving up.
It has been a tough start to Ben Stokes’ Test career, but the English fast bowler said hi side will not roll over despite being fighting against the odds at the Adelaide Oval after day two.
With Australia enjoying a lead of 535 runs with England losing captain Alastair Cook late on day two, Stokes admitted his side were up against it, but said they just needed to bat for a long as possible to make the Australian pace attack work hard.
Personally day two was a bitter sweet one for Stokes after his first Test wicket was cancelled out by a front-foot no-ball, only to get the vital wicket of Michael Clarke for 148.
