Pierce has triple-double to lead the way for Boston.
The Boston Celtics sealed a 118-107 win over the Atlanta Hawks at the TD Garden on Friday night, with Paul Pierce registering his third triple-double of the season.
‘The Truth’ finished the game with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Celtics played some inspired basketball in front of team-mate Rajon Rondo,
Rondo was in attendance for the first time since undergoing surgery on his torn ACL last month, and joined his team-mates on the bench to watch the win.
Jeff Green added a game-high 27 points, while Jason Terry provided a spark off the bench and ended with 24 points.
Josh Smith finished with 18 points and Jeff Teague chipped in with 17 of his own, but it wasn’t enough for the Hawks to upset their opponents as the play-off race for the top seeds in the Eastern Conference continue.
