George at the forefront of another dominant Pacers display.
The Indiana Pacers didn’t disappoint a sell-out crowd at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Wednesday night, as they secured a dominant 113-98 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Pacers take a 2-0 series lead to Atlanta for Game 3 on Saturday night, with the Hawks needing to go back to the drawing board in order to find a way to slow down their Eastern rivals.
It may involve finding a way to stop Paul George, who scored a game-high 27 points while George Hill added 22 for Indiana. Devin Harris led the way for the Hawks as he finished with 17 points with some solid play from Jeff Teague supporting him.
Despite the negative start to the series, history is with the Hawks at home as the Pacers have lost their last 11 games in Atlanta, a streak that dates back to 2006.
That will be hoping to continue that barren run when they meet on Saturday, but coach Larry Drew will need to come up with a plan to deal with George who is seemingly ready to lead the Pacers in their post season campaign.
