See how the Kangaroos completed a perfect tournament in style.
The Australian Rugby League side has vanquished the memories of their shock 2008 final loss to New Zealand, by outclassing the Kiwis 34-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The win ensured the Kangaroos did not taste defeat throughout the tournament, and failed to have their line crossed in the final five games.
While some tipped New Zealand would give Tim Sheens and his men a solid fight, New Zealand were never in the hunt after the first 15 minutes where the sides were level at 2-all after trading penalty goals.
From there the efficient Australia attack went into overdrive as they ran away with the game, to rightfully be crowned as world champions.
