Melbourne Heart have congratulated the players competing in this year’s tournament.
The Australia side set to compete in the Poznan Homeless World Cup have been congratulated by A-League giants Melbourne Heart.
It will be the seventh time the Socceroos have competed at the tournament, which enters it’s 11th year after it began in Graz, Austria back in 2003, with the aim to further highlight homelessness and the misconceptions surrounding it.
The National Community Street Soccer Program, which runs in 16 locations, runs the selection process the Australia participants, while Heart also play a part due to their long-standing partnership with the Victorian leg of the scheme.
