The Catalan boss suffered with the illness for just over two years, but first made a strong and positive recovery that saw him take up their reigns of the famous club, leading them to a record point winning total en route to another La Liga title.
However, he sadly suffered a relapse of the disease early in 2014, and was forced to leave the job to seek out treatment as his condition rapidly deteriorated.
He then passed away on April 24 after complications from the relapse at the tender age of 45.
But he left behind a wonderful legacy, and tributes to his work and character were led by the likes of Gerard Pique, Andres Iniesta, and Lionel Messi, who featured under him for both youth and first team.
And the club have now posted the wonderful tribute below in memoriam to their fallen brother.
