Spanish giants simply had no answer against Munich.
FC Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi has admitted that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich were just too strong and powerful for the Catalans in Tuesday night’s Uefa Champions League semi-final first leg.
The Bavarians inflicted on the visitors their heaviest loss since 1996/97, thrashing Barca 4-0 at the Allianz Arena to all but book their place in the final at Wembley Stadium next month.
However, the Argentina international said that Barcelona would attempt to turn the tie around when the two teams meet again at Camp Nou next Wednesday.
