One-time Man Utd star could make his PSG bow on Sunday.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Carlo Ancelotti has praised former England captain David Beckham ahead of the veteran midfield player’s expected debut for the Parisians on Sunday.
It is believed that the 37-year-old will play some part in the Ligue 1 leaders’ crucial league encounter with arch-rivals Marseille.
“Player in good condition, very professional, happy to be here, and, very good relationship with the other team-mates. I think he will help us to do our best this season,” said Ancelotti in his pre-match press conference.
“I think they [Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic] have the same objective this season, it is to win the league. So, it doesn’t matter if they have a different character. I think they are going to work together very well, with a good relationship.
“So, they don’t have a problem. Everyone is focused on our aim that is to win the league here in France, and Beckham can help us with his quality, and ‘Ibra’ same.”
