However, their 1-0 lead lasted just 10 minutes, before being cancelled out by this wondergoal from right-back Guillaume Gillet.

Gillet – a 21-time Belgium international – struck his volley beautifully after Spurs failed to clear a corner.
The equaliser gave Anderlecht a big boost and, after being overrun by Spurs in the early moments of the game, the hosts began to threaten to score again.
Stefano Okaka was the main dangerman. He twice came close to breaking through, but was denied by an excellent tackle from Toby Alderweireld and then a superb Hugo Lloris save.
Despite looking vulnerable at the back, Spurs maintained a threat going forward.
They thought they had gone ahead on 30 minutes, but Erik Lamela’s goal was correctly disallowed for offside.
