The Bengals have been hard to stomach in the post-season, but one young QB was literally sick to his stomach right in the middle of a preseason game. But that didn’t stop him from throwing a TD.
One of the best preseason performances by a QB this week was by Bengals backup QB Matt Scott. He finished the game against the Chiefs with two TDs and a 119.7 passer rating, along with this little gem:
Scott met the literal definition of “puke-and-rally” by throwing up on the field (twice) and then throwing a beautiful TD strike. Donovan McNabb would be proud.
Scott was a practice squad QB for the Jaguars in 2013, so it is surprising that he had never puked before from seeing that offensive unit.
The Chiefs beat the Bengals 41-39.
