Top Draft picks impress this summer for the Cavs and Bucks respectively…
Ahead of their highly-anticipated debuts in the NBA next season, Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker gave fans a taste of what is to come in the Summer League this month.
Selected with the No.1 and No.2 overall picks in the NBA Draft 2014 respectively, the two prospects are expected to become leading talents in the league in the future, and their initial performances suggest that they will have plenty to offer.
While Parker has had a more settled start to life in the NBA, Wiggins remains a hot topic in trade talks as the Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly still in discussions with the Minnesota Timberwolves over a deal for Kevin Love.
The Cavs are understood to be willing to offer Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and a future first-round pick in order to sign Love, but with the rookie signing his contract with the organisation, he is ineligible for trade until the end of August.
NBA fans in the UK will have the opportunity to see Parker live in London in January as the Bucks face the New York Knicks at the O2, but ultimately the questions will come sooner over whether or not the pair have the talent to make a successful transition into the NBA.
