Both men will be back out in action in London, with Saunders keeping busy as he awaits the winner of Andy Lee vs Peter Quillin while Eubank made it clear who he wants in the near future.
Saunders secured a win over his rival back in November last year on a points decision, and while the general consensus is that he deserved the win it was still regarded as a close bout that Eubank still insists he won.
The 25-year-old defeated Dmitry Chudinov in February to bounce back from the first loss of his professional career, but it is clear that the defeat in November continues to irritate him and he wants the opportunity to avenge it.
Saunders has maintained throughout that he promised Eubank the opportunity of a second fight after he won a world title, and so it remains to be seen whether or not he can defeat the winner of Lee and Quillin before the rematch that many British boxing fans want to see happens.
Meanwhile, Saunders even joked that if promoter Frank Warren was willing to double his purse for the rematch, then he would even take it for May and put his title aspirations on hold. However, that looks unlikely at this stage and so the pair will have to wait a little longer before going to war again.
