Bruins take the win in Ottawa after shootout drama.
In what was a fairly ill-tempered encounter at the Scotiabank Place on Monday, the Boston Bruins eventually came out 3-2 winners over the Ottawa Senators after the game went to a shootout.
Boston have now made it ten consecutive wins away in Ottawa, as they take their record for the season to 17-3-3.
David Krejci scored in the fourth round of the shootout to seal the win, while Tuukka Rask played his part having made 30 saves.
The Senators had led the game for the most part but were pegged back in the second period before neither side could find the net in the third or in overtime.
That led to a shootout, with Krejci coming to the rescue for the Bruins.
