Stray pucks are not the only thing to keep an eye out for at rinkside.
Beer at most sporting events tends to be overpriced, but what do you do when a coach’s earpiece lands in it?
During the Boston Bruins’ 3-2 shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden, Boston assistant coach Geoff Ward took out his earpiece and appeared to throw it over the glass, landing in an unsuspecting fan’s beer.
His shock at having his drink spoiled is understandable given what he probably paid for it.
However, the story is not over, Bruins center Tyler Seguin later owned up to throwing smelling salts over the glass resulting in the amazing video.
