Celtics end a five-game losing streak against the Cavaliers.
Power forward Jeff Green sealed the win for the Boston Celtics in the closing seconds of the game as they snapped a five-game losing streak in Cleveland, with a 93-92 win over the Cavaliers.
The Celtics have struggled over the past week, but battled their way past the Cavaliers with Brandon Bass scoring a season-high 22 points.
Paul Pierce added 19 as Doc Rivers’ men did just enough to secure a much-needed win in order to end their slide which has seen them fall off the play-off pace in the Eastern Conference
Cleveland looked set for a welcome win with guard Wayne Ellington top scoring with 16 points. However, Boston ended the game on a 21-6 run to erase a 14-point deficit and thus put Green in a position to wrap up the victory.
Boston host Eastern rivals the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, while the Cavaliers take on the Philadelphia 76ers.
