Mavericks defeat Celtics to keep faint playoff hopes alive.
The Dallas Mavericks provided a solid win at home as they defeated the Boston Celtics 104-94 at the American Airlines Center.
The 2011 NBA champions returned to that form as they dominanted on both sides of the court, with Dirk Nowitzki contributing 22 points from power forward.
Jason Terry returned to his former team to a gracious reception, however he and the Celtics will be leaving Dallas wondering where there early season form disappeared to, as they continue to struggle without injured star Rajon Rondo.
