Center fielder Mookie Betts is taking baseball by storm as he is finally looking like an American League Rookie of the Year frontrunner after an underwhelming first week.
Betts showed off his wheels by sprinting toward the warning track and robbing Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper of a home run.
His hitting performance has also been incredible as he is batting 2-for-4 with four RBIs, including a three-run homer.
Betts also shocked the baseball world with a double steal, once again demonstrating his blazing speed.
The Red Sox lineup was most notable for adding third baseman Pablo Sandoval and left fielder Hanley Ramirez in free agency, but they continue to prove that they can build from within their farm system.
Here is a video of Betts making this incredible catch to start off the best day of his major-league career.
