Froch was speaking after the conclusion of ‘Rule Britannia’ with the likes of Lee Selby, Kevin Mitchell, Anthony Joshua and Kell Brook all in action.
While Selby was able to become the new IBF featherweight champion, Mitchell fell short in agonising fashion after a bad cut and swelling over his eye ensured that the fight had to be stopped against Jorge Linares.
In contrast, Joshua continued to destroy all in his path as became the first man to stop Kevin Johnson, while Brook successfully defended his IBF welterweight title against Frankie Gavin.
The Sheffield-born fighter was a class above his rival, and eventually was able to stop him in the sixth round of the contest before calling out the biggest names in the division.
However, during the recap, Froch couldn’t help but drop in a mention of the time he fought at Wembley Stadium as the panel discussed the possibility of Brook vs Amir Khan next year.
The ‘Cobra’ hilariously told Floyd Mayweather all about his big night not too long ago, and he had some more fun on Saturday night by bringing it up again.
Those around him insist that it is all part of his sense of humour, and in all honesty it is pretty funny…
