The 38-year-old is deep in training camp as he looks to put in the hard graft to get his conditioning at peak level, and he has previously shared clips from the gym where he has been skipping relentlessly and hitting the heavy-bag.
However, things got a little more interesting on Sunday as he took to the outdoors and proceededed in chopping some wood, with many commenting on his Rocky Balboa methods.
This will likely be part of strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza’s schedule for Mayweather, but it didn’t stop numerous fans from having a dig at the unbeaten superstar and ripping his Balboa impression.
Mayweather vs Pacquiao is expected to shatter numerous records in terms of revenue and viewing figures, with the former insisting at the press conference last week in LA that May 2 is when “the world stops”.
The war of words continues between the two camps for now, but it is just over six weeks away from fight night and the debate over who the pound-for-pound king of boxing will finally be settled in a bout that grip boxing fans around the world.
