With just days left until his IBF super-middleweight title showdown with Andre Dirrell, James DeGale had an unwanted visitor at his open workout on Wednesday.

Willie Dirrell taunted the Brit from outside the ring as DeGale momentarily got distracted by his antics, before trainer Jim McDonnell refocused him and the pair continued with their workout for the media.
Dirrell can be heard shouting: “The champ is here. The champ is here. You’re a loser. You’re a loser. You’re a loser Saturday night”.
It seems as though the 29-year-old is taking it all in his stride though as he gets accustomed to the flash American welcome that he has received, and it doesn’t appear to be fazing him.
“Typical flash, loud Americans. He’s been commenting on my Instagram status for the past six months, I swear to God, just chanting rubbish.
“This isn’t even Anthony, it’s another brother Willie. They don’t have a clue. It seems the one that’s not fighting has always got the mouth.”
DeGale reiterated that he is in great shape both physically and mentally ahead of the biggest fight of his career as he looks to become the first British Olympic gold medallist to become a world champion as a professional.
The British star continued to shrug off the taunts of Dirrell’s brother, and it could end up backfiring on the American as it seems as though it was a desperate tactic to unnerve his opponent.
The pair will go to battle for the world title in Boston on Saturday night, and it is expected to be an entertaining fight between two slick southpaws who have boxing skill in abundance.
