James DeGale has taunted rival George Groves after the latter failed in his third world title shot against Badou Jack in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Groves lost on a split decision in the WBC super-middleweight world title clash, and was seen storming out of the ring after it was announced.
He later insisted that he believed he had won the bout decisively, but two of the three judges had disagreed with him and so it remains to be seen what he decides to do next.
A rematch with DeGale has long been touted but his defeat will leave him in a weak position in negotiations, and ‘Chunky’, who defeated Andre Dirrell earlier this year to claim the IBF strap, has mocked him after years of being the subject of his jokes.
It is unclear if a rematch at Wembley Stadium can still take place next year, but Groves will have to decide whether or not to chase a second meeting with Jack or not first.
