Given that Tyson has a string of heavy knockouts to his name over the course of an impressive career in the sport, even if it is impossible to pick out favourites, it is certainly entertaining just to watch the video below.
Meanwhile, Foxx is expected to play the former champion in a Martin Scorsese-directed movie and revealed that he had a meeting with the production company and Tyson recently.
“I just went in with Paramount with Mike Tyson,” Foxx said, as reported by Bleacher Report.
“So I’m going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I’m on the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm. This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since Raging Bull.”
The video uploaded by Tyson features all 44 of his knockouts, dating back as far as March 1985 with his first-round KO of Hector Mercedes.
The film is reportedly in pre-production stage and Fox added that when speaking to Tyson, ‘Iron Mike’ was insistent that he was happy he has no money left as “no one can take anything from me anymore”.
Tyson, now 48, retired from the sport with a record of 50-6 with 44 KOs with his last fight coming back in 2005.
