Chelsea striker Loic Remy continued his fine run of goalscoring form on Tuesday, scoring a stunning individual effort to put the Blues 1-0 up against Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium.
The former QPR star darted down the right flank, before cutting inside and unleashing a curling shot with his weaker left foot.

His goal sent out a clear message to manager Jose Mourinho. ‘Save your money’, it screamed!
The Special One has been widely tipped to sign a new forward this summer to provide support to topscorer Diego Costa.
Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke is on Chelsea’s radar, according to The Express, while the Daily Mail claim the Blues could move for Radamel Falcao.
Didier Drogba’s departure leaves Chelsea with just two senior strikers – Costa and Remy.
However, both are top class – as Costa’s 21-goal debut season and this terrific Remy goal demonstrate.
Remy scored four goals in his last five Premier League games last season. He is more than capable of being an excellent second choice frontman for the Premier League champions.
Chelsea also have the perfect young player to fill the role of third striker – Dominic Solanke.
The 17-year-old, who netted in the weekend’s 1-0 friendly win over a Thailand All-Stars, scored 41 times for Chelsea’s youth team last season.
Costa, Remy and Solanke – for a team who generally play with just one forward in a 4-2-3-1 formation – is more than enough firepower.
