D-Will leads the Nets to win at US Airways Center.
The Brooklyn Nets improved their season record to 41-29 on Sunday, with a closely fought win over the Phoenix Suns.
However, the game didn’t pass without some last-gasp drama, as the Suns trailed the Nets by three points with 3 seconds left.
Goran Dragic was fouled and made the first free throw, before deliberately missing the second for a two-point play only for Hamed Haddadi to miss the potential game-tying rebound shot.
Deron Williams led Brooklyn with 20 points and 11 assists, while big man Brook Lopez went for 21 points as well as five rebounds.
The Suns were boosted by Dragic who had a season-high 31 points and 12 assists, but it wasn’t enough for them to prevent the loss.
