Nuggets rout Nets in comfortable win at the Pepsi Center.
The Denver Nuggets improved their impressive home record to 33-3 on Friday night, with a 109-87 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite 19 points from Deron Williams, the Nets were never really in the game as Nuggets rookie Evan Fournier led the way with a career-high 17 points.
Having won the first four of five in their eight-game road trip, it will come as a setback for the Nets who move on to Utah to face the Jazz on Saturday.
Wilson Chandler pitched in with 16 points, as the Nuggets made it 18 straight wins at home to move within one win of tying the longest streak in franchise history – and three wins away from the record for home wins in one season.
They will have ample opportunity to do so, with five of their last eight regular season games being played at home, but first they have a four-day break before travelling to Utah.
