CP3 guides the Clippers to victory at Staples Center.
After giving the Staples Center a scare late in the first quarter, Chris Paul returned from a knock to his knee to inspire the Los Angeles Clippers to a 101-95 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
CP3 finished the game with 29 points, 17 of which came in the fourth quarter with 7 coming as late as the final 22 seconds of the game to push the Clippers past the Nets.
Paul also had 11 assists on the night, with four of his team-mates ending the game in double scoring points, with the win keeping the Clippers in fourth spot in the Western Conference.
Meanwhile, the Nets saw Brook Lopez and Deron Williams end the game with a joint team-high of 18 points while Gerald Wallace and Joe Johnson had 15 points apiece.
However, it wasn’t enough to conquer LA, as Brooklyn remain in fourth spot in the East with a trip to Phoenix to take on the Suns to come on Sunday. The Clippers are off the court until Tuesday when they take on the Dallas Mavericks, with Paul hoping to be fully recovered.
