Hoops skipper singles out Juve’s veteran midfielder as the man to stop in Glasgow.
Midfield player Andrea Pirlo is Juventus’s main danger according to Celtic captain Scott Brown ahead of the two clubs’ Champions League first-leg last-16 clash in Glasgow on Tuesday night.
“He is getting that little bit older now and hopefully we can catch him,” Brown said in the pre-match press conference.
“He’s fantastic, we need to try and stop him from playing. He’s the main threat and I’ve seen myself his ability on the ball is next to none.
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes that his side have a good chance of causing an upset against Juve.
“Anything can happen over two games,” Lennon said.

“We go into the tie as underdogs, but nothing’s going to be decided at the end of 90 minutes tomorrow night. It’s over two games and we’re prepared to play hard football over 180 minutes.
“So yes we will have to change the way we play, or certainly the way we played against Barca, but that’s only natural because Barcelona dominate possession like no other team.”
