Questions begins to be asked if the number one can be crowned the best ever.
With Tiger Woods’ capitulation at the British Open in the final round, pundits and fans have begun ask if the current number world number one could ever be the greatest in the history of the game statistically.
Woods looked a good chance to break through and earn his 15th Major win of his career as he was amongst the top three counting down the holes on Sunday.
But after he faded out and finished on 74, three-over for the round and two-over for the tournament, he finished back of eventually winner Phil Mickelson.
