Heated rivalry between Froch-Groves continues to threaten to boil over.
With the press conference conducted, tempers flared as Carl Froch and George Groves took to the Wembley pitch with the former shoving his opponent.
Following on from promoting the fight in front of the assembled media inside the stadium, the pair continued with their obligations as they posed for photographs on the pitch.
As he did inside, Froch refused to look at his opponent as they were asked to square off for the cameras, but the Nottingham-born star allowed his temper to get the better of him and pushed Groves away from him.
With things threatening to spiral out of control and Froch’s brother not helping the situation by antagonising Groves, the 26-year-old kept his composure by not retaliating before warning promoter Eddie Hearn that he won’t accept being pushed like that again.
With both fighters insisting that they are confident ahead of their rematch, it promises to be a thrilling night at Wembley on May 31 with a sell-out crowd expected to be announced after a successful first morning of sales.
Groves has previously claimed that Froch did not want the rematch after he proved in the opening battle that he has what it takes to beat him, while the defending champion believes that he has learnt from his mistakes and will finish the job when they meet again.
