Bruins cruise to win at TD Garden on Monday night.
The Boston Bruins posted a season-high in goals on Monday night with their 6-2 victory over the struggling Carolina Hurricanes.
Brad Marchand scored two goals, while Rich Peverley, Andrew Ference, Jordan Caron and Nathan Horton each added one apeice, while Tuukka Rask was busy at the other end as he stopped 40 shots.
It was just the second time in 12 games that Boston had posted more than three goals in a game, although they will still be slightly worried by the number of shots Rask was made to deal with.
However, following their latest win the Bruins moved to within a point behind the Montreal Canadiens in the Northeast Division, having lost to their rivals last time out.
