‘Old Lay of Italian Football’ face daunting fixture at Parkhead.
Serie A title holders Juventus travel to Glasgow to take on Scottish Premier League champions Celtic in the first leg of their last-16 European Cup tie on Tuesday night.
And Juve head coach Antonio Conte knows that his side will face a tough test in the red-hot atmosphere at Celtic Park.
“We have great respect for Celtic. Celtic are returning to the top level, the Champions League, like us,” Conte said in the pre-match press conference.
“This season we are an “outsider” because we haven’t taken part and challenged in the Champions League for a long time. So we’re like Celtic as outsiders, and like Celtic we want to go as far as possible in the competition.”

“The Champions League is a dream for us. A dream that we must take game by game because of how tough the knockout stages are.
“The objective of this dream is to reach the final. We know it’ll be difficult against a team like Celtic. We don’t have particular expectations, but we also haven’t put limits on ourselves.”
