Four players turned out to show their support for the wheelchair-based game.
Powerchair football – one of the fastest growing sports for wheelchair users on the planet – has won the support of A-League giants Central Coast Mariners.
Joshua Rose, Marcel Seip, Trent Sainsbury and Tommy Slater all took time out to attend an event on Bateau Bay on Sunday, at which the CC Powerchair side, crushed Western Sydney Wanderers in a 5-0 victory.
Although the quartet of stars from the Bluetongue Stadium are accomplished with a ball at their feet they left a lot to be desired when asked to play with their hands.
One suspects the wheelchair-bound athletes didn’t give them an easy ride either!
