Blues boss hints at goalkeeper decision.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has spoken about the current goalkeeping dilemma facing him ahead of the new season in his latest press conference.
With Thibaut Courtois coming back to his parent club this summer after 3 years out on loan at Atletico, the Number 1 spot – owned by Petr Cech for a decade – is now up for grabs.
Mourinho has mostly played the young Belgian in his pre-season programme, though he gave no clues as to who will start between the sticks against Burnley on Monday night.
The goalkeeping situation at the club has been a hot topic in the press all summer, with many believing that Courtois could finally take over from Cech, thus freeing him up to make a lucrative move overseas.
Mourinho did say that it is quite an unusual scenario ti have two world class goalkeepers competing for a spot, which could have been a thinly veiled dig at former charge Iker Casillas.
