Chelsea hitman Fernando Torres fired Spain into the lead against Tahiti at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Chelsea striker Fernando Torres hasn’t been able to replicate his impressive goalscoring form he enjoyed for Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, but has done well for Spain.
The 28 year-old won the Golden Boot at UEFA Euro 2012, and put the Spanish into the lead in their FIFA Confederations Cup match against Tahiti.
His near post finish caught the Tahitian goalkeeper off guard, and ensured that Spain could relax and not expend too much energy thereafter.
