Liverpool captain Steven Gerard’s a very popular man.
The 34-year-old Reds legend played his final game at Anfield last Saturday – a 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.
Despite the disappointing result, Gerrard was given a huge round of applause from all four corners of the stadium.
He was also clapped enthusiastically in the home of Chelsea left-back Filipe Luis.

The Brazilian defender’s son, Thiago, is clearly a big fan of the former England skipper, who will join MLS giants Los Angeles Galaxy this summer.
Luis has actually been linked with a transfer to Liverpool in recent weeks, but it would be severely stretching the truth to suggest that his son’s Gerrard love could make an Anfield switch more likely.
